एतद्देशप्रसूतस्य Part-7

Readers will be surprised why I am starting this series of lectures for Akhilesh now and why I did so earlier for Rahul. Why not that for BJP and BSP and others. When we are ourselves a party why were we trying to boost others? what are Manuwadi targets?  Targets stand on a quite different footing from those of missions and objectives. Mission is what we cherish. Objective is what we aspire. Target is what we can reasonably  centemplate to be in our reach. Targets should be neither too low nor too high. They should be so designed that they should be achieved within the time schedule of proposed frame work. If targets are too high, they will create frustration, as is aften the case in BJP. If targets are too low, they will create lethargy. A balance has to be devised between the two.

एतद्देशप्रसूतस्य - series had been designed to give effect to the Manuwadi  manifesto as enshrined in Manusmriti that all human beings should learn their dos and donts from an अग्रजन्मा (ब्राह्मण ) in this land ie. Bharat. But lessons cant be delivered for all. It is for human beings, not for buffaloes. 'भैंस के आगे बीन बजावे, भैंस खड़ी पगुराय' (If you start playing on the flute before a buffalo, she will start chewing the cud.) A famous saying goes that a monkey destroyed the nest of a bird when she preached a monkey shivering with cold during winter rain that they could have avoided this discomfort had they prepared a shelter earlier. I treated Congress like a human  being and Samajwadi Party like a buffalo or monkey of the above brand. Congress would not be annoyed at suggestions. But now I feel I stand corrected. My concept about Smajwadi Party with special emphasis on Akhilesh has undergone a radical change. Of course I always had high regards for Akhilesh as a person, though not as a politician. These feelings were quite akin to those for Late Rajiv Gandhi. I always felt  that Rajiv was one of the best politicians India has ever produced and It was unfortunate that he destroyed the party as well as himself because of the lack of proper grooming. He was trained by Chandbardai and not by Vashisth. Prithviraj Chauhan was as competent as Raghu, and Chandbardai was no oess capable than Vashisth . The only difference was that of mutual status. Words of Chandbardai did not carry that weight for Prithviraj as compared to those of Vashishtha. Chandbardai has summarised.

बाँधि लियो चामुंड है
हत्यो सुमित कयमास
संभरीष साम्राज्य की
करत तऊ पै आश

(You have arrested Chamunda Rai and killed Kaimas and it is tragic that you still hope that you will emerge victorious)
            Chandbardai had suggested that he would procure Samyogita, with the consent of Jai Chand for Govind Rao, son of Prithviraj and not for king himself. Had it been the case and had Prithviraj not spoiled his relations with his son-in-law and his lieuten- ants Alha and Udal, Ghori would have been crushed. Similarly Rana Pratap's priest stood between the fighting brothers Rana and Shakti Singh and issued ultimatum that if they didnt stop fighting, he would commit suicide. But both brothers didn’t yield and priest commited suicide and Shakti Singh was banished and joined hands with Akbar. Had the priest been effective like Vashishtha, both the princes would have stopped fighting. Had there been no Samarth Guru Ramdas Shivaji would have been another Rana Pratap. Had Modi some Golwalkar, he would not have faced debacle in Delhi and Bihar 'Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely'. It was because of lack of Kanshiram that Mayawati was reduced to 0  seats and if she is reviving, it is because of vacuum as a god gift and not because of her efforts. I was well aware of Congress culture that Nehru and his descendants at least listen to their shortcomings and that is why they revive again and again. Rahul had taken the absurd position after the JNU students case, but may be because of several articles and tweets by several luminaries, he modified his stand on disciple of Owaisi in Maharastra, to the surprise of all concerned. It may be an exaggeration, but the lecture series of एतद्देशप्रसूतस्य might have played its own role. But I thought that if I deliver some lectures for Akhilesh, he might react like the monkey for the bird. And my efforts would go waste. I don’t want demolition of any party at this moment. It is the target of Manuwadi Party to secure a super-fractured mandate for U.P.in 2017 so that all parties stand with folded hands for our petty vote-bank-

पितु समेत लै लै निज नामा
करन लगे सब दण्ड प्रणामा

When Akhilesh was seen learning from the cartoonist, I thought that he was a deserving student to be admitted to this Vishnu Sharma lecture series of Manuwadi Party (Vishnu Sharma was the writer of Panchtantra, the classic on political training to princes). I want improvement in all political parties so that contest becomes very narrow and relevance of Manuwadi Party increases. In a sweep, we will lose our relevance. I wish all parties well. In the welfare of all, lies our welfare. From tomorrow, lecture series on Lohiya, Mulayam and Akhilesh will start. If Akhilesh just has a glance over it, his chances will improve. If he is not seen relishing, we will stop the series. We never deliver lectures for unwilling princes.
